'Les Miserables' and Irony
Look, I don't have anything against irony, and actually, I don't even like "Les Mis," but this article makes a very good point. Every once in a while, it's refreshing to put aside irony, put aside the distance between yourself and the world around you, and just live directly in your own life, immerse yourself in the experience, don't seek to interpret.
